Beautiful, colourful day

It’s been a warm and sunny day today
– perfect for dyeing yarn!

Tomorrow I will do blues, greens and purples.

I hope your day was colourful too.

Going South

Well, not me in person, but the wonderful 12ply core spun wool
will arrive in the South Island in a couple of days!

The lovely Kirsty from Sew Pretty has taken on my yarn.
She will take them to the big Dunkley’s Craft Fairs so put
these dates in your calendar:

Christchurch, 19–21 August
Dunedin, 26–28 August

These are the 20 skeins that are on their way. Head over to Dunkley’s
and have a squish and see how wonderfully soft they are!

And soon peeps, they will arrive in Wellington as well!
Stay tuned.

Kiwiyarns

Kiwiyarns have published a brilliant list on indie dyers in NZ.
There are some very nice words about Happy-go-knitty
and she is mentioning my amazing sis as well.
Click the pic below to read about me and some other clever people.

Enjoy!

Today I sent 30 new skeins of hand-dyed cotton to
Holland Road Yarn Company in Wellington.

Tash has stocked my cotton yarn since she opened the shop.
And very soon she will also stock the super yummy 12 ply core spun wool.

HRYC specialises in yarn from indie dyers. If you haven’t visited her
very funky shop yet – go for it!
